his listing is for a vintage Brilhart mouthpiece for Bb bass clarinet. It is a Carlsbad, CA era Brilhart, with the serial number 217751 on the side in small font. This is an Ebolin version of the "Special" model. The Special was designed for students, although it is still a very good quality mouthpiece. It was made in only one facing, that which was considered ideal for the design of the piece, and for its target demographic. The tip opening measures .065". It is in excellent, and original, condition. The tip, table, and rails are perfectly smooth. There is some light tooth scratching on the beak, but no indentations. The cork is in good condition, but it may need to be replaced or adjusted for proper fit on your instrument. This mouthpiece has been cleaned and sanitized. Also included are the ligature and cap shown, both of which are in fine condition and fit the mouthpiece well.
